Business Development Lead (Cloud) – base €80,000 OTE €120,000

Location: Hamburg, Germany (on-site)

Albany Growth is proud to have partnered with a fast-growing, mission-driven start-up based in Hamburg. Fresh off a successful €7 million funding round, they are in search of an ambitious Business Development Lead to join their team. They are looking to bridge the gap between Web2 & Web3, by offering a multi-service cloud ecosystem on decentralized infrastructure for B2B adoption.

Their mission is to unlock the full potential of Web 3.0 for businesses, making cutting-edge cloud solutions accessible to all. They’re a decentralized cloud provider, and are on a quest to bring a technically advanced product to challenge the status quo. Situated in Hamburg, our international and passionate team is rewriting the future while fostering an environment where everyone can thrive and contribute.

We’re in search of a dynamic person to drive our customer acquisition efforts. As a pivotal part of our sales and marketing teams, you’ll lead the charge in generating high-quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and nurturing prospects.

Your Role:

• Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to streamline lead generation.

• Identify and understand the right audiences, Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and buyer personas.

• Create needs assessments and provide valuable content and insights.

• Leverage modern tools to optimize lead generation and outreach strategies.

• Drive targeted cold calling to generate qualified leads and sales for our SaaS company.


• Minimum 2 years of Sales Development or Business Development experience with a proven track record.

• Strong communication skills in German and English.

• Exceptional relationship-building skills with customers.

• Good time management and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with automation tools, CRM systems, and sales best practices is a plus.
